Moon (Chandra) is one of the nine grahas, the seven visible bodies and the two lunar nodes. It signifies mind, mother, feeling, and its presiding deity is Chandra.
It is exalted in Vrishabha, deepest at 3°00′, and debilitated in Vrischika, the sign opposite; the app counts the whole sign, not just that degree. It owns Karka. Its moolatrikona is Vrishabha from 4°00′ to 30°00′, which the app ranks just below exaltation and above own sign. It is called combust when within 12° of the Sun.
